Some Young Butzes in 1929 Berwick, Pennsylvania

Somehow I have inherited many old family photo albums from the Butzes of 1540 Brittain Street, Berwick Pennsylvania. This is just a sample, one that's of interest to me since it's the oldest known photo of my mother Julia. The "Young Butzes" in this photo were the offspring of John Butz (Иван Будз or Ivan Butz) and Julia Butz (or Jula Marko.)

Front row Helen Butz 9, Julia Butz 7. Rear row Steve Butz, age unknown here, Frank Butz 13. This info was from the back of the photo. Since my mother was born in 1922 I date this photo sometime in 1929 or very early 1930. The photo was taken from the rear of 1540 Brittain Street, Berwick Pennsylvania. I still remember the back of the house which didn't look much different from when I last saw it in the mid-1980s.

If I didn't hate Facebook so much I would post the family photos there, but hopefully some descendants of the Butz family will run across these photos in a Google search. I have photos of Steve Butz, John Butz, Nick Butz and early family photos, Frank Butz and early family photos, Helen Butz, Peter Butz and early family photos. I have no photos that I know of for Mike Butz or Mary Butz. The albums were originally in the care of my crazy old maid aunt Anna Butz ("Mimi") who presumably had a feud with both and threw away all known photos of them.
