Pictures From the Lost Years

Not surprisingly not many photos survived the lost years. There were no cell phone cameras. If we were lucky we might have a Polaroid, or someone with a film camera might have taken a few snaps.

Here's a scan from a standard print size popular at the time.

Newborn Jeffrey with the happy parents at Jerry Hicks' trailer, Berwick, Christmas 1975.

This marked the beginning of the end of The Lost Years. Note the short hair, absence of facial hair, and tie.

Notes

Dianne was returning to her husband in Texas from Avoca airport. So we stayed at a hotel in downtown Wilkes-Barre.

Please note in 1974 sneakers came only in white or black. I dyed my sneakers purple.

Dianne didn't stay long in Texas. She soon returned where we first lived on Third St. in Bloomsburg then Market St. in Berwick.

The cool wool sweater in the pic my mother gave me soon became a child's sweater when D. accidentally washed it in warm water.
