Black & white infrared was once used for "architecture" photography because it gave white fluffy clouds and made blue skies intense. You be the judge.
I used a 87 Wratten gelatin filter for use with the black & white infrared film for maximum effect. The filter was held by a cheap after market holder that mounted on front of the lens. (The holder wasn't quite large enough, hence the curvature in the four corners.) The filter was essentially opaque to the human eye. So I first focused and composed without the filter on a bright day so that I could use a large depth of field.
